Selma is being presented by the Manhattan Juneteenth Committee, the Manhattan MLK Jr. Memorial Committee, and Wareham Hall. Special guest Curtis Pitts will also speak at the event. Recognized by Coretta Scott King in 1981 as a top emerging African American leader, Pitts has been a lifelong advocate for equality, serving in leadership roles with the Kansas Black Expo, the Topeka Human Relations Commission, and more. Donβt miss this inspiring afternoon!
